House, M.D.–Globetrotting Announced for Nintendo DSiWare

LOS ANGELES, CA (May 26, 2011) – Casual game publisher Legacy Interactive®, together with developer Glyphic Entertainment, LLC, announced today the Nintendo DsiWare ™ release of House, M.D. – Globetrotting, the first of five game episodes adapted from the television series by the same name.  New game episodes based on the popular TV show will be released monthly. House, M.D. is licensed through Universal Partnerships & Licensing on behalf of NBCUniversal Television Consumer Products Group.

In House, M.D. – Globetrotting, Dr. House and the team meet Henry, an aging television archaeologist who’s more concerned about saving face than saving his own life.  Featuring all eight stars from the hit television show, players solve dozens of mind-bending puzzles and mini-games to uncover critical clues about the patient’s hidden life. House, M.D. takes a unique approach in blending light adventure game play with mini-games and lab tests.

“We are thrilled to be co-publishing our first game on the Nintendo DSiWare â„¢ service, particularly one based on such a popular TV show as HOUSE,” said Ariella Lehrer, President and CEO of Legacy Interactive®. “Legacy has a successful history of delivering episodic, downloadable game content based on TV shows. We hope that fans enjoy the first game episode and come back each month for more.”

House, M.D. – Globetrotting will be available for North America this Monday, May 30th, priced at 800 Nintendo DSi Points TM .
