We went to Toys R Us in North Olmsted, Ohio to get the bonus Pokemon Black and White styluses, cartridge cases, and cleaning cloth. There were maybe 20 people in line when we arrived about 5 minutes before it opened.
My son bought the Black version and I bought the White one and were able to take advantage of the buy one, get one 1/2 off deal. They even let us get both wall clings and two bonus packs mentioned above.
My son played the game on-and-off all day yesterday. I played it maybe 30 minutes so far. The new 3D graphics remind me of Animal Crossing for Nintendo DS because of how the background scrolls away from you as you walk forward.
They had a Pokemon Black Version and Pokemon White Version Launch party in Parma Ohio the night of the lunch at GameStop. Pizza, pop and giveaways. They said open until midnight and passed out the game to everyone that was there. Didn’t make it there but I was there when a friend was ordering both Pokemon Black Version, Pokemon White and guide for his son. I should have gone and took some pictures because I was up until 2 am. Oh well maybe next time.
