Major League Baseball 2K11 Goes Deep…Into Stores

Game launch marks three-week countdown until $1 Million Perfect Game Challenge begins.

New York, NY - March 8, 2011 - 2K Sports today announced that Major League Baseball® 2K11 is now available on the Xbox360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, Wii^TM system, PC-DVD, Nintendo DS^TM, PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system, and PSP® system.
Major League Baseball 2K11 features a revamped fielding system; Total Control Pitching, that enables pitchers to paint the corners with pinpoint ac­curacy; Dynamic Player Ratings, that mirror real-life player performances; improved My Player and MLB Today modes; and brand new player models, which provide authenticity like never before.

Developed by 2K Sports’ Visual Concepts studio, 2K Sports will once again offer the $1 Million Perfect Game Challenge* and award $1,000,000 to the first eligible person to pitch a verified perfect game in Major League Baseball 2K11, the latest iteration in the popular Major League Baseball 2K series.
